Service Description

Trust the experts at Powergrid Limited for all your electrical inspection and testing needs. Our City and Guilds 2391 (Inspection and Test) qualified technician will thoroughly inspect and test all wiring wherever access is available. Our services include insulation testing, and while power may need to be turned off temporarily, rest assured you are in good hands. The price is for up to 6 circuits at your consumer unit/fuse box (additional circuits available at an agreed price before work commences, typically £30 per circuit) The test will usually take 3 to 4 hours. An NICEIC condition report (EICR) will be issued. This should be done by landlords every 5 years or change of occupancy, and is often recommended by a property buyer's surveyor. If you are considering replacing your consumer unit then a full inspection and test of the existing wiring and issue of an installation certificate for the whole installation including the retained wiring will be included in the scope of that work.
